Dr. Carston R. Wagner Elected Member-at-Large of AAAS Section on Pharmaceutical Sciences

Dr. Carston R. Wagner was elected as a Member-at-Large of the AAAS Section on Pharmaceutical Sciences. His four-year term starts Feb. 21, 2017. He joins Gunda Georg who is also serving as a Member-at-Large of this section. With this new election, half of the Members-at-Large are from the Department of  Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Minnesota.

Congratulations to Dr. Judy L. Bolton (University of Illinois at Chicago) who recently presented the Taito O. Soine Lecture in Medicinal Chemistry. The Taito O. Soine Lecture in Medicinal Chemistry has been established to recognize scientists who have made outstanding contributions to medicinal and natural products chemistry.
